Radar collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not run a server that receives your information.
What stays on your iPhone
Your radars (categories, criteria, prices, places) and the alerts they produce are stored only on your device. Deleting the app, or “Delete all my data” in Profile, removes them.
Location
If you allow it, Radar uses your location to find fuel stations near you. The coordinates are sent, as a search point only, directly from your iPhone to the public fuel price services: the French government’s open data service (data.economie.gouv.fr) and the Spanish Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica. Town search and maps use Apple MapKit. Radar never stores your location history.
Housing, flights and concerts
To check these radars, your iPhone sends your search criteria (for example a town, a number of rooms and a maximum price; a departure airport and a maximum fare; an artist name) directly to the public services that hold the data: Bien’ici for housing listings in France, Ryanair’s fare finder for flights, and Bandsintown for tour dates. No identifier of yours is attached to these requests, and we receive nothing.
Product links
When you add a product link, your iPhone loads that page directly to read the published price, like a browser would. The shop may see that request under its own privacy policy.
Notifications
Alerts are local notifications created on your device. No push token is collected.
Children
Radar is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
